@Theov5WHU@TheViveros Unless your French level is really advanced, you will not see the difference.
I have had 7 exchange students stay with us, with varying levels of French, and they only start noticing the difference of accent and expressions after they’ve been with us for 6 to 10 months
@jewlicious@briangarrett The food court at Complexe Desjardins is at level -1, not at ground level. So are the connections to Place-des-Arts and Complexe Guy-Favreau.
@LGBT_NorthKorea@constans No one and no law forced KFC to change its name in Quebec. It was a commercial/marketing decision back in the 1960’s. Burger King stayed Burger King, Canadian Tire kept its name. But Shopper’s Drug Mart changed their name to Pharmaprix. Its up to the company.
@jahorne I’m a city councillor in Montreal btw. If you’re interested and I’m available I would gladly give you a tour of some of the projects we worked on. But I’m sure you’ll find more people to hang out with on the forum
@jahorne You should try posting a message on the AgoraMTL forum : that’s where all Montreal urban-enthusiasts hang out. Mostly in French - but most people can also communicate in English.

@parmchm @JacobShaffelbur @sam_d_1995 They used the right-of-way of the former suburban train, but no they did not use existing electrified tracks; everything was built from scratch
@RaviBhalla@CityofHoboken@theSCLocal Hoboken is a model I frequently cite in my role of Borough councillor of Verdun, in Montreal, Quebec. You are an inspiration.
