“Theatre of Absurd”
My last year write up on the political and constitutional crisis in Pakistan with reference to Machiavellian politics, exclusion of common masses and World Banks’s Limited Access Order framework!

Pakistan’s role has shifted from facilitator and go-between to direct mediator and peace negotiator (amid reports of 3-way talks taking place in Islamabad). For now at least, Pakistan’s in the driver’s seat in the difficult & delicate effort to guide the US & Iran to an off ramp.
With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!

Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.

NYT: India Appears Sidelined as Pakistan Tries to Play Peacemaker
The sum total of Modi's strategy of past 12 years has been to isolate Pakistan globally - it failed spectacularly after Op Sindoor last May and has turned into a humiliation now.

Recently A woman brushed my car in traffic. I feared she might just drive off, but instead she waited on the side, greeted me politely, asked about damages, got a quote from a nearby traffic policeman, paid the full amount on the spot, and even offered more if needed.
I’ve witnessed where a woman’s car bashed a man’s car. The man came down, realised it’s a woman that bashed him. Told the woman to call her husband, that he has nothing to say to her. It’s the husband he wants to talk to.
After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

He said nations are “imagined communities” standing on 3 supports :
1) Deep comradeship.
2) Sovereignty.
3) Imagined boundaries.
Wonder what happened to each one of them, this 77th birthday?
This is one of the greatest days in Pakistan’s history and we are not talking about only sports. Arshad Nadeem has won the first ever individual gold in the Olympics for Pakistan. Zara namm ho tu yeh mitti buhat zarkhez hai saqi.
Work an eight hour shift. Get up an hour early. Then if you have to run errands afterwards that’s more. Then cooking and eating. That’s 12 hours right there. Try to get decent amount of sleep. That leaves four ish hours a day for yourself. That’s not insane to y’all?
Politically restarted,
Socially fractured,
Morally bankrupt,
This society thrives on injustice, fear and exploitation.
Faiz Ahmed Faiz, once was asked what would become of his nation. My great fear, he said, is that nothing will happen. Things will go on the way they are!
Like I've always said, we fool ourselves about how we are the most talented people on earth...bus sirf moqay ki kami hai.
But the fact is we have a national competence crisis, across most walks of life.
Cricket is just one face of it.
The sooner we realise this and build...
