🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Atlético Madrid have released another statement:
“It may seem like a joke or humor, but this is very serious. We’ve been very angry with FC Barcelona for quite some time. It was done ironically to hold up a mirror to the Catalan club and show what they’re doing.”
“Fabrizio Romano’s messages, news from Barcelona journalists, situations where Cerezo goes to Barcelona for lunch and gets ambushed with inappropriate questions about negotiating with Laporta over Julián, questions directed at our players in the mixed zone”
A dinner is organized in Barcelona and El Chiringuito is tipped off so they can go and film Juanma López leaving the restaurant.
An offer is leaked and said that it has been sent, but nothing has arrived here at Atlético. This is OVER. We’re very angry, and this was our way of showing it.
What’s clear is that Atlético holds all the cards. The player is protected by a €500 million release clause and has a long-term contract until 2030.
We’re delighted with him. He has a long contract, he’s fully protected, and we’re counting on him for next season.
For now, the club has not considered breaking relations with Barcelona, but it has made it clear that it will not tolerate any more situations of this nature involving its player.
Julián cannot be signed through a fixed fee paid over several years plus add-ons. It’s €500 million in cash that would have to be deposited at La Liga headquarters.
If Barcelona had done things the proper way, the agent would have nothing to do with it. But if you bypass the club, then you’re not doing things as you should.
Agents live from this. It’s normal; it’s what they usually do because it’s their job. THE PROBLEM IS BARCELONA!"

Jony Ive: Using touchscreens for basic car controls is a 'dumb design' that endangers lives.
"People are dying because of dumb design."
"Multi-touch shouldn't be in a car. It requires by definition that you're looking at a display."
When the man who popularized the touchscreen admits putting an iPad in your dashboard is a deadly mistake, automakers must listen.
I grew up in cars with analog switches, and I miss them. You could operate the radio or the climate control by pure muscle memory while keeping your eyes on the road.
Now, the data backs up that everyday frustration. A University of Washington study proves touchscreens cause lane drifting. Starting in 2026, Euro NCAP will actually strip 5-star safety ratings from cars that refuse to use physical buttons for basic controls.
We sacrificed safe, intuitive hardware for flat screens. It is time to bring the buttons back.

I assure you if you played three four or five, you'll understand how f****** annoying it is to blast through 90% of the trees only to hit one in particular that was just a little too big and therefore your car can't crash through it.
Making only the cherry blossom trees indestructible was a great idea. Not only because it's polite to the Japanese mythos around them, but because you can identify them when you're going to 100 mph through a group of trees which one you don't want to hit.
I never thought I would have to write this, but I am not a foreign spy of any sort, sent out by any foreign government.
My work is journalism, primarily in Norway now.
Xbox needs to move faster, deepen our connection with the community, and address friction for both players and developers.
Today, we promoted leaders who helped build Xbox, while also bringing in new voices to help push us forward. This balance is important as we get the business back on track.
As part of this shift, you’ll see us begin to retire features that don’t align with where we’re headed. We will begin winding down Copilot on mobile and will stop development of Copilot on console.
i love shitting on valorant but it's genuinely impressive how optimized this game is, when they shifted from ue4 to ue5, they HALVED the games file size and it runs on so many low end devices. it's genuinely commendable how good it runs
