Commissioner Quetta Division/Administrator Metropolitan Corporation Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, held a friendly meetup with local social media content creators & influencers. The session fostered an open dialogue on leveraging social media to promote a positive image of #Quetta and #Balochistan while addressing pressing issues such as cybersecurity, cyberbullying, and workplace harassment, particularly faced by #women.
Addressing the concerns, Commissioner Shafqaat pledged to streamline the process by introducing an annual No Objection Certificate (NOC). This initiative will grant creators official permission to produce videos and vlogs, empowering them to showcase Quetta’s vibrant culture and landscapes without bureaucratic hurdles.
Influencers appreciated Commissioner Shafqaat’s approachable leadership and his sincere engagement with the youth, a much-needed gesture in a time when online platforms are becoming key instruments of regional representation and civic participation.
