@melancoptimist Where the law can really help is to regulate the size of corporations in the market. When a single corporation controls 100s of brands, this competition doesn't exist. Gov't needs to stop allowing monopolies so the market can actually function

@melancoptimist This is true. However, if an employer refuses to pay their employees much, people will find an employer who will. This competition will force the employer to pay more than he wants to. Employees have responsibilities too. The law will hurt more than it helps. We see this now

@hollowearthterf Spouses should always work to make their spouse attracted to them. However, that doesn't remove the duty each spouse has to the other. Sex does not HAVE to be enjoyable to both spouses. Its function is procreation and companionship, not pleasure

@Molaau6 It's not "impossible". All things are possible with God. How is it wrong though, when your theology doesn't require it? What happens if you fail to try? If all you need is faith and friendship with Jesus, there are no consequences for not trying. Works can't save, right?

You could read what Leo XIII, Pius XI, and even Pius XII said on these matters. Before feminism, these were commonly known facts and didn't need explicit teachings
