Three absent students, and two that left early, calls for a quick revamping of the lesson. Impromptu readers theater made for fun Friday before a long 3 day weekend!! @CitrusParkES @HCPSRead @HCPSArea2
Day two discussing items that are water soluable. Funny to see almost the entire Skittle dissolve, but the letter "S" did not. Made us wonder... What is that letter S made of!?! π€ @CitrusParkES@HCPSElemScience@HCPSArea2@HCPSElemScience
We had little fun today deciding which M&M colors would dissolve faster in water. Red was the winner, followed by blue and brown throughout the class. @CitrusParkES@HCPSArea2@WeAreHAEST@HCPSElemScience
Always super impressed with our festive circuit review project that the students' do with their family at home. Family bonding and learning together is the best!! @CitrusParkES@HCPSArea2@WeAreHAEST
Anger, sadness, and giving up chocolate, were some of our reactions after reading and writing our thoughts about child labor and harvesting cocoa beans for chocolate. So many great discussions through the use of a non fiction article! @CitrusParkES @HCPSRead @HCPSArea2
#HCPSRead A5. Using and incorporating these strategies into our lessons early will hopefully make our students continue to use them long after they leave our classroom.
#HCPSRead A4. It allows student to always question, gather facts, and draw conclusions. The earlier they learn to do this, the better, and it will make for a well rounded adult.
#HCPSRead A3. It really gave me so many interesting ways and strategies to implement with my students. Big ah ha was the fact that they should be questioning nonfiction. Gives the classroom so much to talk about!
#HCPSRead A2. I LOVE and will be doing the poster strategy. I am so interested to see them write out their thoughts about the article. Such a great strategy!!
