@JoshuaBarzon Forgot to add tell everyone how much you love NYC and be vocal in politics but then move out when you have a kid because you would never dream of sending them to NYC public schools
cycle or fake transient new yorkers
@TheRobertBshow@paulbullard This is this dumbest shit i've ever read. Kid turns 4 now mom can't back in the workforce or at least back to where she was. Would prob be making 90k by now if she had just kept her job and dealt with it for a few years.
@ronrule I have always said it should be an option to op out and invest on your own. If you freely chose to do so and not save or invest, than that’s on you.
@Buccigross I’m 37 and have two kids of my own. I’m fortunate to still get to play competitive hockey with the FDNY hockey team. Anytime my dad comes to one of my games the first thing i do is find him in the stands before puck drop… same as I have been doing for the past 30 years
@WallStreetSilv Worked a second job 3 nights a week and every weekend and saves every penny from that for a down payment. I’m 36 and bought my house in 2017. So yea I understand things were cheaper and rates were lower but regardless it’s doable
@WSJ Maybe don’t take a trip to Disney if you can’t afford it 🤦♂️. If you are racking up credit card debt for a prolonged amount of time you are clearly living beyond your means. Paying cc interest is the worst trap you can ever fall into
@WSJ I give my 2 year old son 1 cookie or a taste of ice cream and then tell him ok all done it’s all gone. Doesn’t feel like he can’t have something he is asking for without over doing it
@SportsCenter The NBA is an absolute joke. These players are a bunch of babies and get to dictate what happens. How do you even root for a team when the star players change every year. I was a huge Knick and nba fan 90s and 2000s… never watching again
@michelledanzig@Gothamist You charge whatever people are willing to pay…. That’s how a free market economy works. Certain buildings around the city are rent controlled and those landlords aren’t making what they should be able too
No plastic bags at the grocery store has to be one of the worst ideas of all time. Have yet to make it to my car and into my house without the bags ripping. Nobody ever remembers the reusable bags! End the madness already
