Imam Shafi'i رحمه الله said:
"You will never be able to please everyone, rather rectify what is between you and Allah and do not care about the people."

Sheikh al Uthaymeen رحمه الله said,
"It is feared for a person that if he makes a habit in delaying his acts of worship, then Allah will test him by delaying everything that is good for him."

The great tabi'e Harim ibn Hayyan رحمه اللهsaid
By Allah, I wish that I were a tree eaten by a she-camel and then cast out as dung and that I would never have to face the reckoning on Yawmul Qiyamah. Indeed, I fear the great calamity

Umar ibn Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said,
You call yourselves believers yet do nothing about the believers who are starving among you?

Hasan al-Basri said, the worldly life is three days:
As for yesterday, it has passed.
As for tomorrow, you may not witness it.
As for today, it is for you, so act in it.

Umm Darda al Kubra was asked:
What is the first mistake of a married Woman?
She replied,
Believing that her husband will
make her happy.
Happiness is not found in a man but in Allah. Love is not something owed it is something built.

Imam Ibn ‘Uthaymeen رحمه الله:
“We were not brought into this world like animals, merely to eat, drink, and sleep.
Rather, we were brought here to prepare for and preserve our deeds for the Ākhirah”

Ibn al-Qayyim:
Stop a bad thought before it settles
If not, it becomes an idea
If you don’t stop the idea, it becomes a desire
If you don’t fight the desire, it becomes a firm resolve
If you don’t resist, you will act
If you don’t oppose it with good, it becomes a habit
