Los Angeles County Fire Department - Air Operations just took delivery of their brand new Bell 412EPX. Arriving moments ago it starts its new life to serve the citizens of SoCal as Copter 17.

Today @LACoFireAirOps said goodbye to one of their oldest @BellFlight 412’s. Copter 17 was a vintage 1992 model that served the citizens of LA County proudly during her tenured career. She goes on to a new life with a new operator and makes way for a brand new Bell 412EPX.

Amazing work by our #LACoFD personnel last night. Our members rescued over 100 people - one copter hoisted 21 people from cars, and one engine pulled 20 people from vehicles, two deputies and a dog.
