@TightFive_Rugby The top tier team with the biggest gap between talent and results = France. Maybe they need to start building resilience, cohesion and team work by sending their best players on June tours.
@Zak96_inverted_@AllBlacks This is good analysis. Fair and balanced. Poor discipline has been the single biggest contributor to ABs' losses since the Hansen era.
@GaryPayinda These examples don't say much, if anything, about whether Labour's CGT is a good idea. Income tax was introduced in NZ over 100 year's ago, and is still constantly being refined around the edges.
@LewisHoldenNZ These examples don't say much, if anything, about whether this is a good policy. Income tax was introduced in NZ over 100 year's ago, and is still constantly being refined around the edges.
@ShaiNavot Bill Maher has a point. Previously the West closely scrutinized crimes against humanity in Africa, and did everything in its power to prevent.... It's only now that a genocide in Palestine is occuring that we've all conveniently started ignoring the situation in Africa. Spare me.
@cutaway_cafe So make recognition of a Palestinian State conditional on our criteria being met. That is what many countries around the world have done. Try again.
@philinv@canderlodge Nope - we are talking about capital investment that has been cancelled. It is economically illiterate to fund such projects without borrowing. The spending benefits generations for years to come, and should be paid down over time. Like equivalent projects in private sector.
@MusicalChairs14 Well the private debt is mostly mortgages for housing. So presumably the government provided a lot more housing, and housing was otherwise significantly cheaper.
@plzbepatient True to a degree but there are always exceptions. I think the danger is when we a) act like these tendencies across genders don’t exist AND b) when exceptions to the rule do occur we don’t cater for them to also be able to express their interests.
Needs to be room for both.
