This is what banking with @bankwithsmile (part of the @cooperstivebank) is like in 2023:

Paid in a cheque for over £1,200 over 2 months ago.
Smile say they have 'lost' the cheque.
Meanwhile my mum's bank @AskNationwide have confirmed the money was sent to a Coop account.
