The belladonna is my favorite flower./ I love it’s shape and it’s perfume./ You’d likely join the angels in an hour/ should you consume its rather deadly bloom.
Now seems like an excellent time to jump ship to one of those other platforms.
Thank you to all the artists, creators, and dice makers that made this place great.
@spawning_@StabilityAI “Hey artists, we’re forcing you to spend your time specifically opting out from us or we’re going to steal from you, even if your work was copyrighted.”
@ArtStationHQ You tried, bless your heart.
The issue with current AI programs is that they have flagrantly violated copyright law; every last one of them. If you act as if AI art isn’t built on wholesale copyright infringement, then you really don’t care about artists or their copyrights.

@clipstudiopaint Thank you. Both for floating it before implementation, and for listening to feedback.
You still need to examine the root cause of developing a feature that your customer base has been vocally opposed to; there’s a big disconnect there.
But an actual apology and stop-work is good

@toms3dp There’s grey area though. And because it’s the internet, I’m sure “patent troll” is being applied to people that aren’t actually being the “patent troll” that exists only to sue
@toms3dp IMO a patent needs to come with the intent to either produce the patented product, or for the original creator to wait to sell it to the right company.
Companies that exist to buy patents with the sole intent to sue other companies are the problem.
@SarahMasonArt It’s across the board; some of the other people (not digital artists) have noticed exactly the same.
Especially around the holidays people get busy, and have less time to spend on social media…and with the new management issues, Twitter has been the first thing to drop.
@wtf1official Definitely. Fights were much more competitive this year. Except at Monaco; that place is so tight that it’s impossible to have a clean pass on track.
@wtf1official Particularly, the strategy. There were so many calls that everyone immediately thought was bad. Like, ‘they shouldn’t have even been suggested’ bad. And yet, whatever the decision process was, everyone okayed it.
@wtf1official It really depends on who steps in. It needs to be someone who can fix core problems. Ferrari has problems. Team dynamic issues, car issues, strategy issues, comms issues, etc.
And many of those are fundamentally flawed.
@clipstudiopaint Do you really plan to release an AI that scrapes copyrighted works? From artists? The same ones that are your primary customer?
Sure, YOU aren’t collecting data, but you’re using a dataset that includes copyrighted works.
Quit digging deeper. Kill it now before it’s released.
