I need your honest opinion on this.

I think it's time we introduce the South East STEM Olympiad alongside the South East Maths Olympiad. One registration covers both competitions.

Our children have significant gaps in science, and we need to fix that as soon as possible.

I'm thinking we should split the prize money between Mathematics and Science.

We can hold both competitions on the same day but at different times.

I've been studying several world-class science curricula that are built on higher-order thinking and real-world application. We can develop our own curriculum specifically for the competition and share it with schools across the South East so they can prepare their students effectively.

There was another Math Competition, the Pan African Maths Olympiad (PAMO). The 2026 competition was just concluded in Ivory Coast.

Young Master Chifus from Nigeria decided to break a 20-year record. They did it in style.

Nigeria won 3 Silver & 1 Bronze Medals:

Chimfumnanya Aghaduno of Penny International School won a Silver medal.

Damaris Oyerinde of Ambassadors College, Ota in Ogun State won a Silver medal.

Luis Lu of Nigerian Tulips International College, the FCT Abuja won the third Silver medial.

Ikenna Enwere of BrightSun bagged the second highest score in JAMB’s UTME this year. He scored 370. Ikenna won the Bronze medial.

Chimfumnanya is the first Nigerian female to win a Silver at PAMO. She is the first Nigerian female with the highest score ever, at PAMO.

THAT’S NOT ALL. This marks the first time two Nigerian girls have won Silver medals. This is huge for Nigeria, & it was made possible by @SpecialMaths who tutored the children.

Their investment in these children over the years has paid off! I am so proud of them. These are the Diamonds we should celebrate.

Congratulations to our superstars, their parents, the teachers, & the schools involved.

The NIMC Act 2026 was signed yesterday and almost nobody is talking about what it actually does to the infrastructure underneath your fintech product.

The 2026 Federal Government budget is the biggest in our history. N68.32 trillion approved. Let that number sit for a second.

But here is what they did not lead with. Nigeria is only expected to earn N36.87 trillion this year. That means the government can only fund 53.9% of its own budget from actual revenue. The remaining 46.1% will come from borrowing. And debt service alone will consume nearly 45% of everything we earn. That is N15.81 trillion going straight to paying back what we already owe, before a single road is fixed, before a single school is built, before a single hospital gets funded.

Every year, Nigeria sets revenue targets. Every year, we fall short. In 2025, the government projected N36.35 trillion in revenue. By June, only N10.92 trillion had come in. Yet the 2026 projections follow the same pattern, the same optimism, the same numbers that history tells us we will not meet.

People who think that we can cut out the early chapters of Genesis and still have a Christian gospel are not merely making a small mistake. They are cutting at the roots of the very gospel they claim to preserve.

Genesis is not optional background. It tells us who God is, who man is, why sin entered the world, why death reigns over man, why creation groans, why marriage matters, why judgment is just, and why a Saviour is necessary. If we remove Genesis, we do not get a deeper Christianity. We get a gospel without its foundation.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). That is where everything begins. God is Creator, man is creature, and all things belong to Him. Then Genesis 3 shows man’s fall, his guilt, his shame, his hiding, and God’s first promise of redemption. “He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel” (Genesis 3:15).

Paul did not treat Genesis as disposable. He built the doctrine of sin and salvation upon it. “Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin” (Romans 5:12). And again, “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22). If Adam, the fall, sin, and death are treated as symbols we can discard, then Paul’s explanation of Christ’s work is weakened at the root.

Christ Himself went back to Genesis when He taught on marriage. “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female” (Matthew 19:4). Our Lord did not correct Genesis. He confirmed it.

So no, we cannot cut out the early chapters of Genesis and still have the Christian gospel intact. Without creation, there is no Creator to whom we are accountable. Without the fall, there is no explanation for our ruin. Without the promise of the Seed, there is no first announcement of redemption. Without Adam, we cannot rightly understand Christ as the last Adam.

The gospel does not begin in Matthew. It begins in Genesis, where God first exposes man’s ruin and announces the hope that will be fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

People really underestimate the level of herd mentality that exists among men, especially when it comes to doing or allowing harm.
