Orlando Hall RIP. Heroic work by his lawyers got him 5 hours and 15 minutes delay last night, but eventually @realDonaldTrump got to kill him. Read what Orlando wrote about waiting to die https://t.co/l2qbJG3B5w
@nsarwark Good thread Nicholas. But the point of the State taking liberty is to assert itself at the person's expense. Therefore, safety of the person is not of concern.
@iyad_elbaghdadi Many of the countries listed have had a fairly peaceful past and a recent violent century or so. I would go with Palestine or Russia, oddly enough.
@Charles_Lister It's a biological adaptation process, assuming this is a natural virus. Building community immunity is not an easy or pretty process but it works. We can choose to be scared of the infection rate or look on the bright side of the recovery rate.
Cringeworthy but its a free world in which to be dis-courteous. After learning about the tensions with @oneforisrael i'd really like to hear both sides of this story. BBC News - Coronavirus: Israeli medic fired for spitting on Jesus portraits

@AJEnglish report on ice age mammal preservation efforts in mexico. Interesting and likely worth a trip through Mexico City to see in the future. https://t.co/F9iaItRRCM
Syria Art Project: no matter what happens, God gives you the capability of smiling and finding happiness with other people. Weddings are special days everywhere.
@FreeBabarAhmad Salaam. You are missing a lot apparently. He's one of the most able politicians I have ever watched and I had to learn that from AJ English as our domestic press doesn't say much at all. I don't know how he's going to manage the US challenges coming but he's got a fair shot.
@AJEnglish the role of political division in America in the Pres election. Unintentionally perhaps but this provided more hyyocritical coverage than food for thought. Until interviewees are balanced no program will be evenly reported. But entertaining... https://t.co/R6RHlx5A5d
@marwanbishara@AJEnglish Good morning. That's a little extreme to say. Media hypes this stuff up like it's a big deal. All those stories about poll violence.... 2020 has been a "big deal" for other reasons, not a close election. The emotions certsinly are higher but that doesn't mean that we won't be OK.
Agree this is a must-watch episode. YQ and TR are good complement to each other. They do leave out a few points so a second route would be appreciated.
MUST WATCH PODCAST!
