A great illustration of what the new energy order looks like:
➡️ large to small
➡️ centralised to decentralised
➡️ large grids to microgrids
➡️ one-directional to bi-directional
➡️ passive consumers to active prosumers
Of course highly stylised but shows direction of travel.
Going into production in China

When you can invent an idea, do an experiment, file a patent, publish a summary, receive funding, build a research team and reduce the idea to practice - outside any scientific institution.
This important article by @TerezaBizkova powerfully captures why #ReFi has largely failed to be useful in Latin America. I recall back in October 2022 when we gathered #web3 people to share how they MUST build tools in direct partnership with local regenerative leaders on the ground -- or their tools will simply fail to be useful.
Look and see that this is what has happened. The tool builders who took the time to cultivate real relationships and trust with local regenerative practitioners have made progress. All others have failed.
This does not surprise me in the least.
Onward, fellow humans.

My vision for #DeSci is bringing scientists into a decentralised community where their funding source won’t drop 90% in 4 weeks. Can people tag me in projects that are using tokenomics ethically and appropriately?
we need the commons — open source, open systems, open knowledge, open models, open web, decentralised governance, public and common goods, peer-to-peer networks, non-state money, privacy technology, permissionless crowd funding, community ownership, this is what crypto is about.
🤷♂️
i don’t think of Gitcoin as communist, socialist, or capitalist
it is a more complex fourth thing - a coordination accelerant than can be put on top of any onchain community to accelerate progress towards their shared goals
