Troy was so good. But you have to realize people at the time thought this was a B movie. The Lord of the Rings movies had just come out. Gladiator was only a few years old. Pirates of the Caribbean was the year before. We just thought movies would be good forever.
Terry Bradshaw and Willie Stargell with Pittsburgh steel workers, 1979. Photo by Walter Iooss Jr. It was shot for the December 24–31, 1979 issue of Sports Illustrated, which featured the two stars as the magazine’s Sportsmen of the Year. This photoshoot celebrated a historic year for Pittsburgh, as both the Steelers (led by Bradshaw) and the Pirates (led by Stargell) won their respective world championships in the same season—earning the city the nickname City of Champions.
The fireworks before the Steelers game in #Pittsburgh this evening were incredible, and this spot on Mt. Washington was the perfect place to watch them. Love how you can see the reflections as well. Lots more to come!

West Virginia winning the Backyard Brawl in OT and immediately blasting “Take Me Home, Country Roads” is so INCREDIBLY AWESOME.
THIS is college football.
something very chic about crying while driving….have to keep it a little classy so you don’t crash….other drivers unaware a diva is down in the next lane over….
the whole point of making money is paying for dinner for ur friends and buying a little gift for your cousins and getting flowers for ur parents and giving it away to ur neighbors and every once in a while following a little dream in ur head
consistently astounded by the apple “featured photos” tab’s acute ability to highlight exclusively people you are no longer on speaking terms with and/or pictures of you looking the absolute worst you have ever looked in your life
Summary of Trump’s first two weeks:
Trump has thrown the federal government into chaos thus endangering your services and benefits; he’s pardoned violent criminals; he’s announced tariffs that will raise your prices; and he’s done nothing to help you and your family.
Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.
