Aaaand with that I'm outta here, at least for a while. I'm not convinced Twitter will continue to be a net positive for the world.

@SamHarrisOrg The TOS have to be clear and objective so they can be applied fairly. Most people will agree whether or not a tweet promotes violence, for example. I want to limit misinformation, but don’t know if we can make a sufficiently precise definition for “dangerous lies”.
@DovesWilliam@steph_mcca Yeah but I assume there have been 1000s of Space Jam enthusiasts working relentlessly behind the scenes to keep it running this whole time.
@TheJackForge Me fixing a minor bug on someone else's library: What kind of incompetent noob wrote this garbage??
Me fixing bug #37 on my latest production release: Pobody's nerfect!
@Noahpinion I feel like this could work in his favor. People are only interested in news stories that they can use as a political cudgel against their opponents. If he can't be easily branded as a conservative or liberal, then the story will fall out of the news cycle faster.
@Errorreporrt@Jiffylush@profmusgrave @LeagalEagle talked about this and said that court's are generally reluctant to force these kind of deals regardless of what the contract says, usually opting for penalty payments instead.
@MrDisagree@AdamRackis Would it count as parody using your real name but misrepresenting just your job? It doesn't seem to technically violate the Twitter rules, but does that even matter now that Elon can arbitrarily make up new rules by fiat whenever he wants.
@belichickboner @arshamg_ I did biochem thinking I wanted to do research, but hated it and quit after 2 years. I finally changed to software development in my mid 30s and 10 years later it's going well. Not ideal, but you do have time to figure out what else you want to do and wind your way there.
@jmhorp You could draw this for any business or industry that 1) makes money based on government policy or government contracts and 2) uses a portion of those profits for campaign contributions. And the connection is way more obvious and direct than whatever this is.
