@ikhide I believe there's nothing wrong with 'swallow', 'solid' and 'draw soup'. Language is dynamic and meaning can be context-driven, not just dictionary. And we should think beyond Br./Amr. standards. Nigerian Eng is one of the world Englishes. It's normal to domesticate a language.
@GeneralSnow_ Where do we go from here! That was a clear manipulated result - well proven. Umeh Kamsi who was the rightful top scorer was also from the same region.
We need to always check ourselves.
Bigotry is a pandemic in Nigeria, but we need to seek the truth always. Emotions won't help.
@Queeneth01olx You noticed yesterday after 8 months of undue payment. Interesting it was the day you noticed that she left for Canada.
There are always holes in cooked up stories.
Integrity at stake for engagement.
@imakun122 This can't be the right punishment.
I believe it is unfair to withhold a candidate's result for offences committed outside the WASSCE.
While the FGN funds WAEC, it's interesting to see that a state or fed ministry has such jurisdictions. WAEC is an independent testing body.
@mrlurvy 'If una like make una pack in APM members and not people who are ready to defend our territory'
But you all are proudly mortgaging the future of Nigeria. Not that you care.
@davooo_1@sharbel Thank you. It's interesting that he shared the interview link. Wondering if he actually read it cos AI is the least of the success factors here.
@sharbel Interesting. Out of many factors she mentioned, AI should not come top 4. Did we not read the same interview link you shared? AI doesn't even possess teacher ecological agency. Wondering how it's gonna replace professional teachers. AI will support teachers, not replace them.
@n6oflife6@Epaz_N Maths was actually never compulsory for all. Maybe it was before 2010. But they need to make it compulsory. I wish I know basic maths and stats. Everybody needs it.
@renoomokri Wrapped xenophøbia. Every1 knows MTN is largely better than GLO. This narrative is unfair to MTN and other businesses not owned by Nigerians. You cannot tell people what to do with their money. People would spend their hard-earned money where they would get the best value for it.
@MickyArchi@HerbalistChief@He53191Heroic We call it Ọlọ́ṣàńpùtu in more general Yoruba. Aside from the botanical name, it's usually called stubborn grass. We grew a lot in my secondary school.
@renoomokri Please compare wages and salaries, sir.
Example:
For entry-level, a secondary school teacher in Kenya earns thousands of $ while a public school teacher in Nigeria never earns up to $100.
No level 17 (the highest level) Nigerian teacher even earns up to $500.
@joinkuda@mono_hq Is it that you guys don't reply to tweets and yet close your DM? I was trying to report a transaction that didn't 'go well' for some weeks, and it seems you don't care. The app isn't my complaint.
@iloanyaikenna1@joinkuda I made a transaction last month and the person hasn't received it. I was trying to report the transaction on the app but the apps kept popping 'Operation Failed', and 'There was an error processing your request'. Your DM is closed. I don't like coming here.
