@CRCNA #crcsynod my deepest grief is for LGBTQ children who will grow up in a denomination with no voices who will wonder about what Scripture says with them and only the heavy-handed threat of excommunication in response to their desire to love another person

@CRCNA #crcsynod votes 134-50 to forcibly disaffiliate the approx 20 affirming churches in the denomination, including half of GR East and my own congregation here in DC. a sad day that any dissent on the day's biggest issue deserves excommunication. but grateful for some closure
