I understand the fuel savings to spend less time on pit road. I hear it’s only tenths of a second saved.

Curious why 5 or so drivers don’t line up under green and go full throttle, get a 3 or 4 second lead and pit and still be in the lead after all stops.

Then 2020 hit so they went up to over $3

Then 2024 tariffs hit coco, went to $4

Now in 2026 no reason I know of went to $5.12

You all can give me crap for this, but I love NASCAR at IMS. I love any race at IMS. It would be great if the package led to some more passes. But I love watching racecars, any racecars, go around the Brickyard. It's a phenomenal facility and any race there is a big deal.
