@MambaSmith34 If a race playing out naturally doesn’t interest you, maybe you don’t like racing. There are boring, one sided games in all sports, racing is no different.
NASCAR industry members, drivers, media:
“We race too much, we deserve a week off”
“We race too long, shorten the races”
“I’m so glad we only practice once now. I hated giving fans more track time”
NASCAR fans:
NASCAR (and NASCAR people) need to stop bending over backwards to put the wills and whims of non-fans and fickle casuals over the paying die hard. The sport will never grow if all it tries to be is "less of an inconvenience for people"
Stages are NOT needed for TV.
F1 and IndyCar don’t schedule cautions for TV and take away the leaders advantage.
Stage racing is a gimmick designed to manufacture entertainment and it needs to be abolished.
Depends on the person and preference I guess. We all grew up watching stock cars be able to close up to the back bumper and trail a car through the corner, now they can't. I don't watch open wheel ovals because of this style of racing. I thought Nashville was ok but it can certainly be much better.
@BYNDmetropolis@whatsundersteer I didn’t say that. But no one can deny that these cars cannot follow each other through the corner without completely losing the nose and it’s very frustrating to watch.
@nascar_opinion Tough to compare because of the generations of cars. Plus, Ambrose was driving with a much lower tier team/car in his time. Would be fun to watch those 2 go at it today.
Give Dover back its points race.
Put the All-Star at Charlotte.
Simplify the format.
Wait... do we even need a fan vote?
This is @DaleJr's ideal All-Star format.
