For less developed countries, another concern is access to technology (phones/WIFI) and payment network sophistication. Just because someone earns $25 on the app doesn’t mean they can make it productive in their community

Messed around with @useKled for about an hour. Uploaded 100ish photos from my photo album and completed 8 special tasks (filming myself opening/closing doors and cabinets) and got paid $1. This is peanuts for me, but is potentially very attractive for people in developing countries where per capital annual wages are <10k

A few open questions. First, how valuable is data that comes from developing countries. Many of these contracts are coming from robotics companies that would like to train home robots. If you are in a village in South Sudan, your data might not be very relevant. Even so, you are free to submit photos of anything. Payouts will be lower obviously, but if you can take 5k photos at 0.001/photo, it’s nontrivial.
