People of integrity never manipulate others by deception and pretence. Stand for what is right even if it means standing alone-show courage even when fearful!
Today is #NationalSiblingDay & I’m sending love to everyone who’s lost a brother or sister.
It should be the longest relationship of our lives & yet we seem to underestimate the lifelong devastation caused by #siblingloss
If you still have yours, give them a big hug today 💙🩷
I also talk about this tonight on top of lots of other things.
Setting developmental expectations outwith children's reach.
Beyond developmental capabilities.
This sets them up for failure.
I am bad,I am not capable.
We end up diagnosing our pupils as the problem.🧠🌱
On this International Day of Education, @bbccin is proud to support the @OrmistonTrust’s #WeWill youth social action campaign which helps enable young people make a positive difference.
A message for today …
Living through adversity isn't easy, but it's often in those hardest moments that we discover our strength.
Adversity doesn’t define us, but how we respond to it does.
Keep going, for it is in the struggle that we often find our greatest resilience.👇
🗣️ Brave voices for change!
Children who’ve experienced domestic abuse are speaking up to inform politicians about the support future generations need.
Their message? Survivors are never alone, and every voice matters. 💛
Huge thanks to the SAY Project and Women’s Aid Northern Ireland for sharing these powerful stories with BBC Children in Need.

In 2004, @GirlsAloud released 'I'll Stand By You' as the official BBC Children In Need single, reaching No.1 in the UK Singles Chart for two weeks.
Now 20 years later, the band are set to release a brand-new version of ‘I’ll Stand By You’ with their beloved Sarah Harding featuring exclusively on lead vocals throughout. The vocals were discovered in the Girls Aloud vault while the band were pulling together archive material for their sell-out The Girls Aloud Show arena tour earlier this year.
A version of the track featuring Sarah’s vocal was a highlight of the recent tour and an emotional moment for both the band and their fans. A freshly produced studio version will now be released on November 15th as a special charity single to support BBC Children In Need.
You can listen back to 'I'll Stand By You - Sarah's Version' on @ZoeTheBall's BBC Radio 2 breakfast show from November 6th.
You may have seen our films with amazing young people, schools and community groups from all over Scotland, working with the LAB team! But... what is the LAB? 🤔
