Has AI given you more affordable rent, healthcare, education, retirement, cheaper gas, lower power bills, less pollution, cheaper groceries, more privacy, more rights, more time to enjoy life, more peace, and more hope?
After storm chasing since the 90s, sometimes a maybe 2-hour window from discrete to linear doesn't sound appealing. But looks like an interesting day for my favorite chasing area - Kansas City/nearby 4/17. Between 1-5pm/so... #severeweather#kswx#stormchaser
Tornado Warning Starke County, IN. Tornado on ground near Toto. Moving E 30mph. Deadly tornado! Take cover now. Multiple confirmations EMS! #inwx#toto#knox
Hearing from a lot of people: AI is taking their jobs, denying claims, raising rent/home prices, stealing data, invading privacy, wrongfully marking people criminals, wrongfully disabling accounts, causing more lawsuits, spreading misinformation, making incorrect diagnosis, etc.
I am so proud of students who are pro-science, pro-education, pro-compassionate, all while struggling in this nearly impossible time of no affordable housing/rent/healthcare, and hoping for a better tomorrow. Stay focused. You legit are the future...
Florida residents, check your Duke Energy bill asap. Greed strikes again. Beware. Some people are noticing double to triple their normal power bill... #ConsumerRights
@RandPaul Rand, do you live in another universe? There's no affordable housing/rent, record medical/student debt, low wages, people working multiple jobs living paycheck to paycheck, no hope for retirement. People can't afford to live - even with multiple jobs. Maybe Congress should act?
Has AI lowered your rent, mortgage, health insurance costs, student debt, raised your pay, respected your privacy/rights, increased more good jobs, lowered your internet bill, reduced excessive environment resource usage, enabled you to enjoy life more than ever before or retire?
So far AI has tried to double charge me rent, double charge me for internet service, double charge for insurance, and replaced countless customer service agents (humans who answer phone) with a robot you have to repeat yourself to 10 times just to not get any useful info.
It's a shame leaders and much of the public ignore the fact there's no affordable housing/rent, no universal healthcare, record homelessness, people die with record student loan/medical debt, loss of privacy/rights, no retirement, low wages, and crumbling infrastructure.
I've been teaching #science for over 12 years. I have almost 400 students this semester. I'm proud to be a part of their education. These are future engineers, doctors, nurses, business, communications, and so many other people we need to function as a society. Support educators!
Imagine if the US came together to pressure leaders for affordable housing/rent, universal healthcare, erasing student/medical debt, ensuring rights/privacy, upgrading infrastructure, and retirement. Priorities of leaders and the people are really messed up.

HERE SHE IS.
@LauraLoomer Not how this works at all. And IT companies that have already outsourced have to fire the outsourced staff and rehire US citizens? The details matter. This is basically for show/worthless.

President Trump is now considering blocking US IT companies from outsourcing their work to Indian companies.
In other words, you donโt need to press 2 for English anymore.

About ten years ago one kid with measles went to Disneyland and hundreds of kids spanning six states, Canada and Mexico got it. Anyway over 50 million people went to Disney World last year
An immigrant didnโt drive up home prices. A Wall Street billionaire did.
The largest landlord in America is Stephen Schwarzman, the CEO of Blackstone, who became $470 million richer YESTERDAY, jacked up rent prices by as much as 79%, evicted thousands & is now worth $52 billion.
