@OregonHomer I don’t totally disagree with this, but then again at 24 you’re usually going to be letting in over a dozen teams that should, under no circumstances, be given an opportunity to claim a national championship regardless
@DawgsPodcast@CowboyChomp You’re really telling on yourself with the whole “Erik Russell” thing. His name is Erk and you clearly have no idea who he is
@JoeyBurrowGOAT@_kingburns1 That would be the first time we matched up on the SECCG right? Unless I’m forgetting a year
Kinda interesting considering how many SECCG appearances each team has
@JLBNT3@OUoutsiders Real talk if yall have a search, looking at Buster for HC wouldn’t be a bad idea. Last UF coordinator yall hired turned out alright
@run_the_bawl@GoMFGators@AllHailKingLo I would argue the difference is that we never really saw Key without Buster (outside of half the 2022 season). Sumrall has four seasons without Buster, albeit at a lower level. But going to four consecutive conference championships at any level is impressive
@Matt_McGavic So your main reason for keeping UF down is the defense, but you don’t apply that same logic to Ole Miss who’s currently giving up 30 PPG?
@SpongeGata15@gatorsszn Because he wanted to set up a scenario where we play JMU, and the only reasonable way for that to happen would be in a 5v12 matchup
@CoachPR5 I like him a lot in large part because Cignetti has admitted he pretty much lets Haines handle that whole side of the ball. Also love that he’s a previous strength coach in terms of the personality he’ll bring to a program. And then of course his defensive numbers have been elite
