Its Ben's Father @RevereDad Sadly, it was one year ago we received the devastating call that Ben was gone. A beautiful Son, so full of life, had unexpectedly passed away. He was 21 years old. An amazing young man who embodied the best of us in every way. Seeing the joy, he brought to the world leave is a terrible thing.

Thank you to everyone that reached out to us, offered thoughts, prayers, & condolences, donated to his scholarship or helped spread the story of Big Ben. Every note mattered & meant something.

Please know his final days were filled with love & joy in his heart. As I said at his service, he was in that perfect state of happiness, doing what he loved, and enjoying life. I hope each of you have a lifetime of those days.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ Thank you for posting. Being a grieving Father myself & having spoken to Father's that have lost children, they definitely grieve differently. Trying to be the rock of the family, the pillar of support for others, while looking for their time to comprehend the loss.

Christmas 2024. Such a great time with friends & family. Ben was sad being in the portal but happy having good places to go. We traveled like old times, visiting colleges & coaches. Always great having him home. We love you Son & miss you. It's not the same today without you.

Ben's final resting place is Moore's Chapel Cemetery. It was another sad day in a devastating year. Spent a lot of time with him that week, talking, praying. Beloved Son greatly missed by so many. The best of us in so many ways, gone too soon.

Ben's signing day was such a great time. We went to Revere HS and signed with his teammate Shane, heading to Kent St. Everyone was so happy for Ben. He had his entire future ahead of him. I knew today would be hard for us.
