I've been looking for a new home for my writing/other creative projects, and ultimately decided to build one of my own.
6 weeks, 29,845 words and 119 code commits later, i'm super excited to share the Garden with you all!
I finally finished archiving my college course notes this weekend! 23 courses, 220,000+ words over 3 majors at berkeley. entirely handwritten from the tail end of the pre-llm era

the term 'vibe coding' just turned 1 year old. we've come a long way in that short time!
I ran an evaluation on 5 coding agents (claude code, cursor, copilot, antigravity, and augment) to see which one performed the best as of early 2026.
I'm looking forward to a near future where agents become even more capable; we've seen some early signs of life through recent experiments like Steve Yegge's Gastown and Peter Steinberger's Clawdbot.

At my current phase of learning, I feel like there's a lot of value in practicing writing/sharing thoughts more freely (higher quantity + lower expectation for quality)! Here's what I hope the next year will look like:
@haewonpark_ @_buildspace@_nightsweekends@FarzaTV this is a really cool topic- i look forward to seeing your analysis! I'm curious what format you're planning on releasing it in- will it be an essay? a video? or something more abstract?
@domknguyen@_buildspace this is awesome, i've been looking for meaningful activities to fill waiting time with others (like being in line for a concert)! curious to see how you'll solve the server problem- are you planning on running your own or making the connection fully local/p2p?
