1/5: @monzo has been a nightmare, and I will defintely be switching banks. On Wednesday, I received a message via live chat asking me to prove I was entitled to a payment from January. I’ve never had to do anything like this before in my adult life.

@monzo 4/5: I’ve tried calling, but they just keep telling me to wait for the specialists to get back to me on live chat – which is a joke because now they’re practically ignoring me.

@monzo 3/5: They said they’d pass it on to the “specialist team,” but out of nowhere, I got a message apologising that they couldn’t refund me for a scam I supposedly reported… I NEVER reported a scam.

@monzo 2/5: I didn’t hear back until the next morning, with some vague excuse about needing to do checks because they’re a regulated bank. By then, they’d already frozen my account (Thursday morning), so I immediately sent an invoice to explain the payment.
