Latiniser: “Aaaaghhh please stop Nicholai!! Im sorrry I won’t cite dogmatic councils ever again!! PLEASE STOP!!!”
Nicholai: “Say Jay Dyer is Lord… SAY JAY DYER IS LORD!!”
Delusional Nicholai thinks he is part of a fictional "internal police force" of Orthodox Christianity.
He is a cult fantasist.
Don't humor him; he is sick, and needs professional help.
@Hakureicist I was involved with these latiniser guys for a while but I never identified with the name and I would have disagreed with them on a few issues.
However, the idea that the “latinising” way of thinking could lead one to embrace Rome seems like a solid argument.
@JohnTzimiskes97 I am familiar with his work, we did a video together last year.
Im a bit skeptical of papal minimalism, however if it is true then it could probably reconcile Haec Sancta with Pasteur Aeternus.

I feel like if I became a Catholic I would struggle to believe MOST of it, and tbh I’m not sure if I’m ok with that.
How could I be a member of a Church that I think is wrong about a lot of things?
Pope Saint Pius V was quite fond of the death penalty.
The crimes of adultery, heresy, and unnatural vice were punishable by execution during his reign of the Papal States.
As Grand Inquisitor, he "accompanied" thousands of Waldensian Protestants to the gallows.
Either all the popes until about sixty years ago were heretics or true Catholicism was invented in 1965, with its main doctrine the celebration of the “human dignity” of murderers, migrants, and everyone else who makes life worse.
Both can’t be right.
@JohnTzimiskes97 It’s difficult as a Catholic inquirer to reconcile many of the more ancient church practices with the modern, I feel like if I were to become Catholic I would probably become an annoying, conflicted and confused Trad Cath.
I want to be a member of my Local Church, where I live that is the Catholic Church, but my local Church is not the same as the Church my ancestors happily struggle for their salvation in, it is different, because it does not have the East.
