I literally had to go check the article to confirm. This is why I never support children of corrupt politicians. They know what their parents do and have done and they are in agreement. It's not a bad thing really, we are all beneficiaries of whatever good or bad our parents did.

If he amply suited and qualified for his role-then how does nepotism essentially apply?

If you think he isn’t CAF’s Acting Secretary General on merit -then you haven’t done your homework at all!

Firstly, he studied Business Management and Computer Science at the American University of Paris -before completing the FIFA Masters programme in 2009-which saw him bag the postgraduate certification in sport management, law and humanities across Universities in Europe.

From being the CEO of Copa Lagos all of those many years ago, he has been one of the most influential football operations executives in Africa-best known for his previous role as Director of Competitions at CAF.

In this Capacity held from 2018-2026,
Samson basically oversaw the organization and execution of ALL CAF tournament from Clubs to National teams (Senior and Cadet)…and we are talking the implementation of regulations ..tournament logistics and operations …etc of hundreds of matches annually!!

He -alongside @mobisezeaku …shine as Nigeria’s beacon of Football Administration!!

Samson is more than worthy of his position at CAF.

@Mochievous Might be totally wrong but I think it's dropped packets. Unstable or inefficient service causes lots of dropped packets. These lost packets get retransmitted and thus cause you to use up more data. You request a 1MB site, lose 50% of the data packets and thus end up using 1.5MB.

The whole genesis of our security issues is not the killing of Yusuf, rather it is the enactment of the sharia penal code that emboldened sects and characters such as Yusuf and Boko Haram.

By enacting a religious based penal code, the state signaled that theocratic values were placed above secular values- secular values that were intended to maintain peaceful coexistence of varied interest in a modern state.

While it was okay for the state to outlaw alcohol as a showing of its religious values, that was grossly insufficient for others like Yusuf who continued to advocate for stricter implementation of those religious values - they wanted western education outlawed amongst other requirements.

Had the state not created the perfect incubating conditions a decade before, the sect would have been faced with a daunting challenge of planting a foundation for its activities in a secular environment.

But the states created the foundation- all Yusuf needed was the bricks, and today the house has been roofed and put up for rent.

We need to massively retrace our steps if we will have any chance of success.
