Exceptional engineers can build amazing web apps using ANY framework. If you can only do that with @nextjs, you are relying too much on the @vercel optimizations under the hood. By saying "@rails is slow", I immediately remember the saying: A bad workman always blames his tools
I can tell from experience: The @rails developers from my job write JavaScript code 10x cleaner and more performant than a React.js fanboy. They have a better fundamental understanding of how the web is supposed to work
I can express this enough. If you are a backend developer, learn yourself some advanced SQL techniques. And if you think you don't know SQL well, get sometime to learn properly. This will improve your software skills as you will be able to do some much more with the data you have
Terminar namoro com alguém que você ama dói muito, mas errar uma questão no Qconcursos que teve 95% de acertos É UMA DOR MUITO MAIOR, PARCEIRO. É HUMILHANTE VTNC
This is great! Truly great.
It sometimes feel like every decision now in software needs to come after weeks of deep exploration, interviews with users, and whatnot. Just do the thing, see if it works, rollback or adapt.
"How coupled is this code?"
I can't answer until I see what kind of changes you want to make. Code is coupled with respect to some changes & not to others. If you never change your database, then being potentially coupled to your database vendor isn't a problem.
Tem um cara no meu curso que não programou uma linha de código no nosso projeto durante todo o semestre, depois disse pra professora que precisava de uma vaga na nossa área. Será que a galera que tá chegando realmente acha que é fácil assim ser programador?

"I say, do or do not. Hybrid is a cop-out. Commit to the office, if that's what you want. Or commit to remote, and enjoy all the benefits it brings. Don't fiddle this Machiavellian middle." https://t.co/qpNLl0ByNM
"Yes, microservices, like any pattern of programming, is a tool. Yes, 'it depends' is technically correct. But we offer no guidance to those looking to design better systems by simply saying that; we need to be willing to say WHAT IT DEPENDS ON." https://t.co/0Mkl2vrL1Q
