And yes, unless you’ve sat in the seat you don’t fully know the capabilities/health of each player. Ofc as fans, pointing the analytics finger makes tough losses easier I suppose

@cameron954 @mpicardi that’s the disconnect imo. Many fans believed we are playoff caliber and we’re just not there yet. I believe in Gus/cassie longterm. Luzardo/cabby very reasonable trades given the owner. No point of letting them walk for free. Weathers was a head scratcher not a fan of that one

@cameron954 @mpicardi Agreed there is a balance. I’m not a big fan of Clayton, but there’s a reason a dusty baker type didnt get hired here. There’s a lot egregious takes I see on here that the org relies entirely on a computer or ai algorithm. really believe the lack of depth is a bigger factor

@cameron954 @mpicardi Exactly right seemingly. We’re not in the org/team meetings and fully understand the processes that go into it all. Fact is every fanbase points the finger at analytics and “having no feel” when teams don’t win. we’re hurting on depth which I’d argue is as critical as talent.

They’re middle of the pack in everything. We went through much harder times from 18-22 as frustrating as this stretch has been

There is prob a system to maintain long term health where it unfortunately ends up that way. I don’t think they’re blindly listening to an algorithm like everyone says

Big picture they’re fine, not every transaction works out. We all want immediate returns. But no one’s forcing you to stick around for the long haul.
