@evanshalshawuk having an absolute nightmare with my car that I bought from your Wolverhampton branch that has closed down. No other branches will help. Filled out online complaints form which said response within 48 hours. It's been longer than that and I have a car I can't use.
Took for diagnostics at my own expense. Garage identified £4500+ work to fix multiple issues that have been present since purchase. DPF, SCR, turbo… the list goes on. Branches told me to contact head office but there is no phone number. What am I supposed to do?
Being gaslit by @ShopifySupport once again. When I raised that one of their features doesn't work as expected, they ask:
"Has it ever worked? If it has never worked, what makes you think it should?"
Careful folks, don't expect the feature to *work*!
"The party's got a problem."
Former Labour MP Thangam Debbonaire, who lost her Bristol seat to the Greens, exclusively tells @cathynewman that her party's "lack of a strong narrative" around Gaza during the election "had consequences".
Love this.
I have a policy wonk/parliamentary process question though… how have they managed to do this without a vote in the commons? Is there some executive power that cabinet ministers have that doesn't have to go via parliament?
This government was elected with a mandate to take immediate action to boost Britain's energy independence.
The onshore wind ban is a symbol of how bad decisions in the last fourteen years have put up energy bills for families.
Today, it ends.

@jessphillips You're being disingenuous. Your party literally has a system of whipping. Independent (or Green) MPs do not have the threat of party expulsion hanging over them when they want to vote with their conscience.
@awjre@HMRCgovuk To be honest I can see why they'd do that. I had to send them a letter recently, and they have a digital service for checking if you should have a response yet. Last time I checked they had only processed post they received in Oct 2023 👀
What are the chances that Labour's NEC blocks a bunch of left wing MPs from standing, in addition to Diane Abbott? It seems like an under-discussed possibility!
@michaeljswalker@faizashaheen Heartbreaking. What a huge loss for the Labour party.
You can see how much it means to her – I hope she stands as an independent.
I would love to understand the mindset of a British liberal commentator/ comedian/ politician. Brexit is a very bad thing that you’ve lambasted for several years, but you’re neutral on genocide?
All this talk about SSR reminds me of when I was doing it *before* it was the done thing: https://t.co/cj4iz0158L
Do Next.js and co solve the auth problem so you don't have to think about it?
