Is it allowed to think about my startup during Shabbat?
Tbh, I’ve had some of my best business ideas during Shabbat.
It’s the only time during the week when I actually sit down and think.
We forget to think.
Emails, notifications, social media, Slack, AI tools... there’s always something asking for our attention.
So thank G.d for Shabbat; I highly recommend to everyone, Jewish or not to use it as a reminder once a week that our brain can still come up with ideas by itself.
Shabbat shalom fam
If you’re in SF and have nothing better to do on a Friday morning than listen to a dumb French creator talk about startups, growth and content, please join!
I’m doing an event at the European Startup Embassy this Friday.
Come say hi and grab a coffee

What was the worst advice an "expert" gave you?
Mine was from those Meta/Tiktok ads reps saying "start by optimizing for installs/clicks and then switch to purchases/subscriptions.”
I’d rather pay $5 for an install from someone likely to subscribe than $0.50 for 10 tourists.
Any consumer app founders in SF making $50k+ mrr wants to exchange note on acquisition/retention.
Happy to brainstorm about your content strategy ( I have 1M+ followers across socials)
