This was the plan all along, deregulated SEZs carve-out entire regions of a country with their own private laws separate from the host country. This is what Brexit is really all about, and this experiment in corporate governance was a Tory initiative that is full backed by Labour MPs, Mayors, councillors, Lords, and Baronesses who were board members of Sunak and Truss's nationwide Freeports/SEZs consortia.
