@Mike__Baier Also you donβt need a huge amount of miles in a city to have a dramatic impact. Even smaller projects maybe sub 10 miles can change a city for the better.
@wholemars My good friend is planning to trade in his Rivian for a Model YL. He has he loves the Rivian but FSD is just too good not to have.
If Rivian had FSD I think it would do very well.
10+ years of scheming, dreaming, late nights, 100s of thousands of calls and emails, nights away from home to get to today.
@GiordanosPizza got it started thanks to an idea from my wife. And now we are here. Thank you to all our investors that supported us early on. Go @SpaceX!!
@jinsyu@robmaurer@wholemars Subsea fiber often takes indirect zig zag routes through landing stations and hubs. Laser links in space can travel a more direct path. The only thing faster than fiber is the light traveling through the vacuum of space. I see those cables becoming obsolete in time.
The service may feel pricey in some markets, but the economics are pretty unique. Once a Starlink satellite has passed over higher-paying customers and generated enough revenue to cover its cost, it still keeps orbiting the Earth. When it passes over lower-income regions, almost any additional revenue is incremental and goes to the bottom line.
That means SpaceX can price dynamically by region and potentially bring the cost way down where needed, because the satellite capacity would otherwise go unused in those areas. Itβs not like building separate infrastructure country by country. The same asset keeps circling the globe and can monetize demand wherever it exists. Pretty amazing when you think about it.
@peter_adderton SpaceX pace is unmatched. Been fortunate to witness it first hand. Every person top to bottom is an extremely high achiever. Every time I visit I leave inspired and tell myself I need to work harder.
1) Keep improving FSD
2) Avoid Potholes
3) Keep audio in rear ON during Bluetooth calls option. Kids lose their audio when watching a show if a call comes in.
4) parking sensors that have a clear signal/sound right before you hit something, not the same beep when 2 feet away or 2 inches.
5) Park the car inside my garage from an alley entrance. Very tight space. Have to sometimes close mirrors to get in.
