Various basic facts:

1. Jews are descendants of Jacob, son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham.
Jacob’s other name is Israel.
The people of Israel (Jews) lived in Israel for 3,600 years, 2,000 years before the birth of Islam.

2. Local Arabs were offered half of Israel as part of the 1947 partition plan. The Arabs refused.

3. Since 1948, the local Arabs were offered multiple peace treaties. The Arabs refused.

4. Rape is wrong. Entering homes to torture and murder children is wrong. Kidnapping teens is wrong. Holding a baby hostage is wrong. None of these actions can be justified.

5. Performing some or all of the actions mentioned in Section 4 is likely to cause a war.

6. Israel is obligated to follow international law. This does not mean its responsibility towards Gazans is greater than that of Hamas.

7. If you support Hamas’s claim to power you also acknowledge it’s the ruling party in Gaza, and therefore it holds the sole responsibility for the consequences of its actions.

8. War is not genocide. Attacking a terror group is not genocide. The fact that a war has casualties does not make it a genocide. If that was the case, every single war in history constitutes a genocide.

9. There is no ethnic cleansing. 20% of Israel’s population is Arab. Some of these Arabs are parliament members, Supreme Court judges, prominent IDF and police officers, talk show hosts and singers. Many are doctors, nurses, pharmacists and board members in leading israeli companies.

10. If Hamas lays its arms and release the hostages today, there will be no more war. If Israel lays its arms today, there will be no more Israel.
