Free competition limit monopolies (there are multiple covid vaccins available not just one). The drug approval process is slow because you need to gather evidence that the benefit-risk ratio is good enough 1/2

So I'm not sure things always progress towards a better world if you let the market be fully free. But maybe I need to be cured from that thought ?

@Devon_Eriksen_ Your belly being expendable to a certain limit burger will eventually compete with vegetables and we know what usually wins. Does it mean fast foods are better at making food ? No, they just provide what people will like for evolutionary reasons (sugar + fat + salt) for cheap 2/3
