@paulg For example, I’ve tried posing the questions that I ask colleagues on Slack to chat bots. The answers of general and vague. If a colleague had left me an answer like that, I would actually be annoyed. I would’ve preferred they didn’t try to answer the question.

@fchollet Does AI learn by analogy?

Such an important tool for human understanding. I don't see much sign of analogical reasoning in neural networks. Is that because AI is learning without using analogy? Or am I missing the analogical reasoning that AI is already doing?

@fchollet Biking, it struck me how much of the 101 overlapped with El Camino Real, a name the Spanish gave to the same costal path. Of course, they were not the first to travel that route. The general course and even specific parts of it have been trod by humans for thousands of years.

I would be very surprised if you wrote "john carmack" and didn't mean yourself.

Feels like code linters should mimic human language and push us to create enough difference between identifiers that they probably aren't misspellings.
