For my non-Aussie friends, our national indie radio station Triple j just released their ‘Hottest 100’ songs of 2021, which is like a blind, democratic version of Eurovision minus the international politics. 😉The Wiggles, an old Aussie children’s band, just took out the #1 spot.
Like Jeff Buckley’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, The Wiggles cover of Tame Impala’s “Elephant” shall henceforth be the definitive version, “Fruit Salad” mashup inclusive.
