Great to get back to doing presentations with schools. As part of them learning about the Arctic, we chatted about Arctic adventures and then planned our own kit lists. There were some notable items on the kit list I should definitely include on the next trip!

It's always pretty awesome to wake up somewhere totally different in your tent, especially when it was so dark when you pitched up, you have no idea what you'll be looking out to. Mostly, I was grateful to have avoided pitching in the bog!

The biggest thing I miss about the Mountains is the long and technical scrambles. With a little less running to cram in its great to get back to other activities. Luckily, Cornwall has some pretty decent spots if you know where to look!

South Coast trail runs! It was a toss up between getting battered by wind, rain and big hills on the North Coast, or getting wet and muddy on the South. The South Coast won.

Apparently, consistency is key. At the moment it seems to be consistently wet and the miles seem to be consistently hard going! Hopefully some short term goals will keep the momentum up.
