But it bothers me that the issue of the cost of living was not in the President’s speech therefore not a priority. And when the question was raised by a journalist, he gave vague answers. He talks about food commodities that they have imported. But how will this resolve the cost of power, or fuel, water or stabilize the Ksh, or delay of disbursement to county governments etc? Why is the President avoiding this very important conversation?
