@robleethesav@JakeWally Contreras and Chapman are in the category of players who are good but could get you a good return in a trade. It’s not about Contreras not being good, it’s that this team is not in win now mode and trading him could help build for the future
@ggeiss_mlb I feel like Connor Wong is one of those guys that doesn’t do a lot to excite the fans but behind the scenes is loved in the clubhouse and has a huge impact on the pitching staff. Anytime I see a clip of Tolle, Early, Crochet etc. Wong is always right there. Thoughts?
@DallasCroob@Culturinal28241 He’s not hitting mediocre is the thing. Below his usual standard sure, but an .806 OPS is not your average hitter. If he wins cy young with those numbers he wins MVP easily, and the offense is likely to improve
@JEWFR0@Colin_d_m@tgoode999 That’s kind of the point though, the amenities are nicer but it’s still considered worse. The building itself isn’t what makes a stadium/arena great, it’s the history behind it. Fenway is considered one of the best but the amenities suck compared to other stadiums
@wmorris_3@tylermilliken_@AriA1exander Pitcher injuries are often wear and tear over time, not just one sudden moment when something happens. Likely impacted the past couple starts
Alex Cora didn’t trade Mookie Betts.
Alex Cora didn’t miss out on multiple big-name free agent signings.
Alex Cora didn’t lowball Alex Bregman.
Alex Cora was asked to manage a team whose “leader” is a 22 year-old kid with 9 career homers.
Sell the team.
@ExhaustedSoxFan@BallParkBuzz It makes no sense. Why would you want him out another week if he could be back sooner when when have 4 other outfielders already active
