@NCRonline @ThomasReeseSJ If the Eucharistic prayer is an offering prayer to the Father (of Jesus' sacrifice), would it then make sense that the priest takes up the "ad orientem" posture? (I had in mind that the "versus populum" posture showed clearlier that the priest celebrates "in persona christi".)
