@brandondarby With all the dangers that surround our bordering towns, it is pathetic to hear that this type of protection is not available for the officers. I googled and found some for under $1k. Why can’t they purchase items like this with drug seizure money? They have a very small dpmts.

@BrianEntin They would have known that was Ms Mireles and Ms Garcia’s class! The whole school could hear those gun shots and assumed the suspect was in there by himself just shooting a breeze?
I can’t believe it. Where is there something that LE was communicating with the school principal???

@BrianEntin I can’t stop thinking —where was the school campus administrator(s) ! Were they not in communication with LE who were inside the building. Via radios or something? The principal should know that campus inside and out and would have known that were students in there!!!

@brandondarby As a young teen, I vividly recall going across the border one day (we would walk over from McAllen) and witnessed 3 bodies hung over the bridge. Horrific!

@brandondarby Found safe, but so much more they have to endure in a foreign country. The trauma is unbearable; physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional and verbal. The many horrific things they see are even too much for the adult eye. Hopefully, they will be united with family soon.
