Imagine being told your building was to be fully funded, then told it was an error!
Ben and his girlfriend were in the process of buying somewhere else, that is now on hold.

More chaos and confusion in the government’s treatment of leaseholders hit by the building safety scandal. This is appalling. Labour is seeking cast iron guarantees that leaseholders won’t be the victims of unfair, unjust costs.

This @PeteApps story is nuts🤯Imagine being told that your full £10.5m cladding bill was covered by the building safety fund. Then, months later, it is revealed that an error has been made and the full bill isn't actually covered.....and you now owe £20k https://t.co/p1V3Dh70Sm
With the government casually withdrawing full funding, many of us residents at @XQ7Building are now in an even worse position than before. Career, financial and lifestyle commitments were made months after full funding was provided in writing by @luhc #EndOurCladdingScandal

@EOCS_Official@michaelgove This also happened to our building, XQ7 apartments in Salford Quays. We were told we had full funding for £10.5 million bill in April but have subsequently been told we were issued the letter in error and we now are not eligible for full funding @XQ7Building
