As someone who will be in Melbourne for it in 2028 100% I would miss it.

Never get a chance to see that caliber of golf in Australia without it.

Unless the PGA wants to make itself truly global and play tournaments on all continents?
19 of the top 100 are internationals but we get zero chance to see tournaments in the eastern hemisphere.

I plan on being in Melbourne for the Pres cup in ‘28’ there is no other way in the current golfing calender that I could possibly see that quality of golfers in Australia without it.

Even though LIV failed it shows us the appetite for elite golf around the world is huge.

It’s nothing to do with what we don’t want to see.
It’s the restrictions on seeing what we want to see and more importantly the people who may be on the fence politically not being able to see both sides of the argument everytime the government feels threatened by the views of the people.
And the discretionary powers the minister has to deem whatever the fuck they want as ‘harmful’ (to them)

I’ve lived in multiple places on the east coast of Australia and played golf for over 20 years.
Ranging from
Tropical to regions with severe frost and snow in winter. From coastal to inland.
They all core the greens at different times of year depending on the local climate.
The spring coring can range from August to October and the autumn coring, march or April.

Not hard for the course to notify each player as bookings are made.
