The presence of Myanmar nationals in border districts like Kamjong has already been acknowledged and is being handled by the administration. That cannot be twisted into a blanket accusation against an entire village or community.

Making sweeping claims about “whole villages,” militants, officials, or politicians without naming individuals, specifying acts, or providing proof is reckless and borders on defamation.

If drugs are truly the concern, why ignore districts like Kangpokpi and Churachandpur, where major seizures are regularly reported? Selective outrage undermines credibility.

Hill areas in Manipur operate under Article 371C and the Manipur (Village Authorities in Hill Areas) Act, 1956. Ignoring this framework while vilifying a village is both insensitive and constitutionally uninformed.

Finally, @Dig_raw21 it is highly inappropriate for a retired Army officer to air such broad allegations on social media. The Army’s own norms exist to prevent exactly this kind of conduct that risks inflaming tensions and damaging institutional integrity.
