I briefly interviewed the victim family. He has lost two of his brothers in the hands of Kuki militants. Zeliangrong people are now demanding three points now:
1. Apprehending the perpetrators behind the killing.
2. Resignation of Nemcha Kipgen, Deputy CM of Manipur.
3. Removal of SoO designated camps from Naga areas.
@manipur_police So brave, snatching single barrel rifles from Naga Village volunteers while kuki narco terrorists roam freely with automatic rifles. Litan to Mahadev is the road safe to travel. And by the look of it, those people were guarding the bunkers. Don't show bias, people are not blind
Keep taking revenge forever, it has become an annual event of revenge-taking. Your Bloodlust will never be satisfied. Bring out that naked parade also. Beat it like a dead donkey again and again to distract from your recent crimes.
Our Tangkhul Women Living Under Daily Gunfire Share Their Stories ...
In this powerful podcast episode, brave Tangkhul women share their firsthand experiences of surviving amid an ongoing crisis that has transformed every aspect of their lives. Their stories reveal not only the physical hardships they endure but also the invisible wounds caused by living under constant fear, stress, and uncertainty.
These are women who once worked tirelessly to provide for their families through farming, weaving, cultivation, daily labor, and small businesses. Today, many can no longer safely work their fields or earn a living because of the ongoing violence and security threats (Sniper) surrounding their villages.
The impact reaches far beyond economics. The emotional and psychological toll is immense. Mothers worry about their children's future. Children grow up hearing gunfire and explosions instead of laughter and peace. Families live with uncertainty every day, wondering what tomorrow will bring.
Yet amid the darkness, something remarkable remains.
Their faith remains strong. Their courage remains unbroken. Their hope refuses to die.
These women are not asking for pity. They are sharing their stories so the world will not forget them. They are standing firm for their families, their community, and the generations that will come after them.
This is more than a story about conflict. It is a story about resilience. It is a story about humanity. It is a story about ordinary people displaying extraordinary strength in the face of unimaginable challenges.
🙏 We ask you to listen with an open heart.
🙏 Share their stories with your family and friends.
🙏 Pray for peace, healing, and protection for every family affected.

Day After Release of 14 Kuki Hostages, Bodies Believed to Be of Six Missing Persons Recovered
June 10, 2026 : Nearly a day after the release of 14 Kuki hostages, a month-long search for six missing persons took a tragic turn with the recovery of mortal remains believed to be those of the missing individuals.
According to Manipur Police, the remains were recovered this afternoon following an extensive search operation involving around 450 personnel from the Manipur Police, CRPF, and Assam Rifles, assisted by sniffer dogs and forensic experts.
The deceased are believed to be among the six persons reported missing from Leilon Vaiphei village in Kangpokpi district since May 13.
Police said the necessary legal formalities are being carried out, and an investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The recovery comes after weeks of uncertainty over the fate of the missing persons and follows the release of 14 Kuki hostages yesterday.

🌐To the leaders who hold the power to decide,
I am writing this not just as a citizen, but as a person watching the fabric of our humanity fray. There is a deep, agonizing silence that follows news of tragedy, and today, that silence is deafening.
We have seen the reports. We have seen the images. We are left to grapple with the stark, painful contrast of the news: the release of 14 Kuki hostages, met with the unimaginable grief of seeing 6 Naga men returned home only in death.
My heart breaks for those families who are now staring into an empty room where a father, a son, or a brother should be. How does a mother welcome home a son who is no longer breathing? How does a community find closure when the ones they fought to bring back are delivered to them in a casket?
I have to ask: Why?
Why is it that some lives are returned to the warmth of their homes, while others are returned only to the cold reality of a grave? When we look at these two outcomes side by side, it feels as though there is a hierarchy of grief, a calculation of worth that we cannot fathom. We need to understand the path that led to these two vastly different endings.
We are not asking for more politics or more vague assurances. We are asking for transparency. We are asking why the lines of negotiation and protection did not extend equally to everyone. We are asking how the lives of these men were weighed, and why, in the end, it was their lives that were lost.
Every death is a failure of our collective conscience. When a life is extinguished, we lose a part of ourselves. When we cannot protect our own, we have to look in the mirror and ask what we are becoming.
Please, tell us how we are expected to reconcile this. Tell us how we are supposed to move forward when the wounds of this injustice are so deep, so uneven, and so raw. We deserve to know that every possible effort was made for every soul caught in this conflict, and right now, the silence on these questions is more painful than the truth could ever be.
With heavy hearts and lingering hope for accountability.
A concerned citizen
