@sammymacuk I'm not too sure how much protest has been cracked down on, there's almost daily protests in London and the right to peacefully protest will always be enshrined in law. I'd suggest compared to other countries across the world we have a very free and non authoritarian democracy

@sammymacuk They aren't planning to abolish jury trials either, they would keep them for the most serious offences for but for lower level summary offences get rid of the right to a crown court trial. At the moment victims are literally waiting years for cases to go to trial.

@sammymacuk Most governments bring in new policies throughout their terms in government that's not anything massively new. I'm not really sure what the negatives are in banning kids from social media and making big tech more responsible for safeguarding kids
